Yeah I'm cool...
11.24.03 (4:17 pm)   [edit]
Today was a school trip day! Hurrah I thought. Unfortunatly it was to an English conference in London in some church in Holborn. Some bits were quite interesting but then it got boring. However, I did manage to get a very nice lamb samosa (if a bit hot) and a kick arse smoked salmon sandwich from pret a manger round the corner at lunch. I could have gone to the pub though but I forgot! ARGH! :x

I've got work tomorrow which i'm not really looking forward too because its a five hour shift and i'm gonna be really tired and crabby after. What else has been happening?

Not alot, I bought two posters off the internet the other day, a Smashing Pumpkins one with the tonight tonight video stylee thing on it with them on it and a Bush one with the 'Science of things' cover which is really cool. They should come in about two weeks but until then I have a big nasty space behind my PC which needs filling with some sort of poster.

...And I just realised I type quite fast :D

Apologies for the lack of entries. Anyway...

Had the mother of all shit days today. Firstly I was just feeling fairly down for the whole day. Also then Cat and me nearly broke up (shit english but fuck it). She thought/thinks that we've been arguing loads recently, and we have a bit, but yeah it got me really depressed in History and I nearly cried  Also my friends were being complete fuckwits and decided to take the piss loads. But yeah, I think it's resolved between her and I now which is good.

Later I'm off to recording (again) - It seems we've been there forever. Anyway it means I've gotta do the lyrics to our new song which I'm thinking about calling 'Adrenaline' or something like that.

In other news my band may have found a new drummer. Joe (Shards of glass bassist) knows him so hoepfully he'll get in contact soon because I really wanna meet him. His name is Kieran.

I got a computer in my room as of yesterday but it's not totally set up and so dad needs to fuck about with it and make it go - then i'll be able to update and go on the net and play games all from the privacy of my own room :D

But for now I must flee...

Oh yes and you should all listen to Elliot Smith - 'Needle in the hay'

Rock On

Hmm, well havent updated for a day or two so thought i'd write some shit on here...

Yesterday my friends and I went up to London to Hard Rock Cafe for my birthday (it was a week ago but no matter). Anyway so we had a meal up there which kicked arse and before we went to the vault museum bit. That was really cool. I got to play Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam's guitar which he used to record the 'Vs.' album. Also got to hold Jimi Hendrix's flying V which he used at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970 2 weeks before he died :D

Anyway so then pottered about London a bit and went to Denmark street to look at guitars. Then came home and went to film my media project with Matt, Joe and Jamie. I was so tired that I woke up this morning at 12! Oopsy!

I'm off to London again with Amy and co for another NFC meet which should be cool then I'm off to rock some more at Band practice :D

See ya!

The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight

I got up about an hour ago and felt kind of paralysed. You know when you feel all heavy and its hard to move? anyway I had that...and it was a bitch. My hair is all messy, that's a bitch too - Well at least its a bit more managable now its been cut.

I went to sleep last night with a sore throat and my ears ringing after band practice. It was alright apart from that, we started on a new song that I wrote, it sounds kinda like 'Crushed like fruit' by Inme.

Tonight I'm off to Brighton with Livi and Cat to go and see The Music (The band) who incidentally rock my socks. However when listening to their album yesterday my mum told me it all sounded the same and to turn it off.

I never know what to say on these so erm... I'm gonna go and do my English essay on the Mp3/filesharing issue and chat to various people.

Adios

Hmm, I never know quite what to write for these kinda things. I started one on another site ages ago but never wrote in it so this time I've promised myself to write in it.

Anyway, onto the diary type stuff. Not been doing much really - I've got band practice tonight and I wrote a new song for it while playing around with my new distort pedal. Schools out for half term but I have a shit load of homework including a big arsed article on the MP3 Issue for English Language hoemwork  Ah well - I'll live.

I've been listening to a fair bit of music recently and in particular the following albums come heavily recommended by myself:

Bush - Golden State
My Vitriol - Finelines
Silverchair - Diorama
The Music - The Music
Incubus - Make Yourself

Lovely eh? Guess I don't exactly to conform to that stereotype that my friends have pigeon holed me in as a person who just listens to 'dead' bands :P

I broke my phone recently which really pissed me off. I must have thrown my bag against something at school. It's gonna cost me £25 to fix which is a bitch as I really need to save my cash for other things...don't quite know what - Oh yeah, a computer for my room
:!:
